What does design mean to you?

Design is an opportunity to change the way people perceive and interact with the world, to add simplicity, clarity, and beauty to our daily lives. A thoughtfully designed experience can bring whimsy or curiosity or sadness to someone’s day, and a beautifully crafted object can make a person feel nostalgic or inspired. Design equips us with the tools necessary to influence the way people feel and hopefully make someone's day or week or year a little better.
