What does design mean to you?

At its core, design is creative problem-solving working in tandem with human connection and emotion. This duality of technical research and total creative expression is what first attracted me to design. Ultimately landing on furniture design, my work centers around this balance of engineering and artistic expression, while also keeping pace with current issues in society and the environment to ensure each piece is contributing something meaningful and productive to the world. It’s this constant evolution and careful synchronization that has kept design exciting and extremely rewarding as a career.
