The School of Design is a special place, and we welcome the opportunity to have you experience what makes us great. This year, with the university's focus on virtual tours, we have created a virtual Design Info Session experience to meet with you whether you are currently in the application process or looking towards applying in the future.
Check out CMU’s Student Experience for more information about life on campus, and this overview of what’s happening in Pittsburgh to get a sense of where the city is headed. When the university approves visitation to campus, you can also take a general campus tour or attend an information session offered by the Office of Admission. You may even learn firsthand what life on campus is like by participating in a Turn Tartan Overnight weekend stay.
Get to know Oakland (the neighborhood where campus is located) and be sure to leave time in your schedule to visit nearby design attractions like The Warhol, the Carnegie Museum of Art, Fallingwater, and the Mattress Factory.
